Purpose
:Used in case as a rasayana (rejuvenative) to promote longevity, and traditionally to enhance digestion (dipanapachana), treat constipation (anuloma), reduce fever (jvaraghna), purify the blood (raktaprasadana), reduce cough (kasahara), alleviate asthma (svasahara), strengthen the heart (hrdaya), benefit the eyes (chakshushya), stimulate hair growth (romasanjana), enliven the body (jivaniya), and enhance intellect

We can find it everywhere in Cambodia.It helps for intenstinal tract,painful eyes,malair,fever,inflammation of the urinary tract.It helps the skin and flesh.Its root treat for fever and dengue

How to use:

Try to dry up for planting to heal the cough.

Its fruit can be eaten.It is sweet,taste,sour.Their shells are soaked drenched colored to treat humans or animals for drinking

Other function:

Mix the mixture with salt and apply on the skin or mouth(for mouthwash)

Morinda citrifolia

Morinda citrifolia (ញធំ ឬ ញស្រុក)

Purpose: Morinda citrifolia use to treat fever, dysentery, Abscess, cough and Neuralgia.
For fever and dysentery use dried leaf to boil and drink.
For Abscess pounding fresh leaf apply on skin.
Coughing and Neuralgia eat fruit with salt.

Bael Fruit

Bael fruit   ផ្លែភ្នៅ  Aegle marmelos

  • Purpose: In Cambodia, people use as medicine to treat​ stomachache, and use for beauty as well (drink for skin care).
    The way of using is slice the young fruit and dry with the sunlight to keep long and boil when we need to to drink.

    Kawashima san said there are same dry fruit in India, it tasted very bad.  When I see her photo it seems dried and sugar coated.  Is there any plain dried bael fruit in India?

Commonly grow in forest.​ The fruit is sweet when it ripe.
This time, CWA Cambodia tried to make tea using the difference way, and pack whenever we want to drink will be easy.
After process as tea, it’s better to make a tea and drink as soon as possible. The taste is sweet, otherwise will be sour.
