Shakaw (Kachin) Great cardamon

Shakaw is used as a spice with other two kinds of spices in Myanmar.
Shakaw, Pakaw, and Majyang is the trio to cook curry, seasoned fishes and meats.
They are also used for to make Naw Hpu.
Naw Hpu is fermented small soy beans (in Kachin they call Naw Hpu Shring Kra).
With Naw Hpu Spring Kra and those 3 spices, they make spicy dry Naw Hpu.

This great cardamon is also called black cardamon.

Thitsi

Title: Thitsi
Purpose: good for cold.  When it is cold,  they use this to make a soup to warm up their body.  When you twist ankle, you rub with oil of Thitsi. Thitsi turns oil when it warm.

Macadamia nut


Title: Macadamia nuts

Purpose: good for elders health.  Its oil is good for curing scratches, and brain.

Hting Ke

Title: Hting Ke,  Dokudami  Houttuynia cordata  

Purpose: Good for eyes

Target:

Web diary: In Myanmar, they make salad with Lape(fermented tea leaf) .  They call it Lapeto.
In Japan, they call this Dokudami.
Dokudami in Japan famous as Jyuyaku(十薬)in traditional medicine.  It is good for high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis and diuretic.  It is also ingredient of detoxify medicine in traditional medicine.
